The inspiration
The inspiration for this new range of greeting cards, came during a shoot with Jules Heath, an artist / photographer, as we were reviewing our work. the moment the image popped up on his laptop of me in his Dad’s old crumbled velvet jacket – cheekily braless – we knew we had something different. This would make a great greetings card - ideally too good to throw away, hence the name... we would love it if some of the greetings cards were kept even framed.
About me
Mieke attended Bodywork, the Cambridge Performing Arts Theatre School and numerous courses at RADA, E15, City Lit and continues to train as part of Bubble and Squeak Collective drama group where Elaine Murphy Casting Agent recognised her talent. Already Mieke has a string of commercials and films for up and coming young stars under her belt, while her contract as a lingerie model with Cotton Club prepared her well for her first major raunchy scene appearing as Anna in Camelot the new BBC drama filmed in Ireland by the American company GK TV, due out early in 2011 you never know we may see some stills from the series on cards in the near future...
